About the Program
Joining a full-time Early Career Analyst Program with AIG is a great way to enhance business acumen and to gain insight into the Insurance industry. This program is for the aspiring leaders of tomorrow, and provides an exclusive and competitive entry into our organisation for graduates from all degree disciplines. Participants are offered a truly global experience, commencing with the initial induction to the program when new hires come together for training and networking in New York. During the 2 year program, you will also get the opportunity to work on a global project with your peers within the Analyst Program, offering you unparallelled exposure both globally and in terms of seniority within the organization.

AIG’s underwriters help to find insurance solutions for risks from a range of areas including life insurance, aviation, financial lines, casualty, environmental, catastrophic events, high net worth individuals, and boardroom liabilities.
Your contribution at AIG
The candidate should ideally have education or working experience in financial industry, preferably in P&C insurance with business planning, financial analysis and capital management background as well as strong Microsoft Office Pack, communication and presentation skills.
Primary responsibilities:
•Work with team leader and various functions to establish regular projection process of AIG subsidiaries that includes projection modelling, result analysis, presentation material preparation as well as implementing governance and control around the process for quality assurance.
•Work with team to implement group wide capital management guideline and policies for the AIG subsidiaries that the team is in charge and execute capital related strategy to help ensure effective and efficient capital management in the group.
•Build up and maintain contact with various business functions to conduct capital management related analysis that includes rating capital models, solvency regime, peer comparison analysis and etc.
•Continuously improve online tool for regular AIG capital management dashboard and maintain corresponding database to ensure one source of truth.
•Support team leader to expand team’s role to better support regional and head office’s capital management function.

•You will be energetic, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity and able to problem solve effectively. In addition, the ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels of management, and to build strong working relationships, internal and external to the organization, will also be key to your success.
•You will ideally have graduated by June 2018 to commence your role in June/July 2018. Recent graduates with up to 2 years experience will also be considered.

Job Duties:
• Maintaining, developing and growing the existing customer base
• Revenue and profitability responsibility for Group, SME, Corporate & Multinational accounts under Accident, Travel & Health (where applicable) Insurance
• Networking with end clients / brokers via trade shows and other similar mediums to develop and maintain relationships
• New business prospecting to meet goals for new business development
• Maintain and target a strong pipeline with the ability to report on ‘live’ negotiations
• Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of the sales process business, including pre-sale and post-sale
• Price / Underwrite Group, Corporate & Multinational accounts for Accident, Travel & Health (where applicable) Insurance
• Involvement in projects / regional initiatives including product development
• Work closely with Client & Broker Engagement to ensure Accident, Travel & Health (where applicable) Insurance is represented and distributed through their respective channels
• Leverage interdependence with other product-line managers to cross-sell, up-sell and best position the Accident, Travel & Health (where applicable) Insurance product line
